Naturalization & US Citizenship

 It is important that all eligible persons apply for naturalization and obtain their citizenship. Citizenship is available to those persons who are Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) and meet certain requirements, as required by law.  The basic requirement is that an applicant must have been a continuous Lawful Permanent Resident for five (5) years or more, or have been a Lawful Permanent Resident, who has been continuously married to their US Citizen spouse three (3) years.  In come cases, an individual can obtain citizen by serving in the US military.
